Quality Assurance
The quality assurance process involves a series of constant activities, including planning, monitoring, follow-up, evaluation, reporting and implementation, which all aim to link the learning process to the desired objectives.
To become a leading institute in the region, recognized for its diversity and known for excellence in education and research, and preparing its students for successful careers.
Create a suitable learning environment within the various departments, and encourage research productivity.

Benchmarking is a means of comparing the Institute's performance or standards, or both, with those of its peers. It is a means by which the Institute can monitor its relative performance, identify gaps, seek fresh approaches to bring about improvements, set goals, establish priorities for change and resource allocation, and follow through with change processes based on empirical evidence. Benchmarking projects can be as simple as doing a desktop survey of relevant websites or may involve a formal request for information and/or an agreement with another institution.
Benchmarking is an important element of the Institute's quality assurance cycle and attempts to answer the following questions:
1) How do the standards we have set ourselves compare to our peers?
2) How does our performance measure against the outcomes of national and comparator institutions?
3) How can we adapt good practice examples from other institutions to our own organization?
